ayan, dahil sa na-inspire ako sa nakaka-tuwang entry ni myk sa site nya,,, <http://bb.1asphost.com/mykreationz/> at dahil din sa pag-alis ko pa lang ng office nun thursday, gusto ko na gumawa ng blog entry tungkol sa (magiging) [manila-]bohol-cebu escapades namen, nakagawa na ko ng oras para mag-blog,,, =D

nag-umpisa ang lahat sa isang pangako,,, ;p sa EK last october, in between hugs and tears, sabi namen sa action_3 cebu peeps,, wag mag-alala dahil magkikita pa kme ksi pupunta kme cebu,,, ;p tapos,,, late last year, nagkayayaan na,, punta tayo cebu sa march! sagot naman ng mga tao, tara! =D

mid-january 2005, aba, seryosohan na to,,, may promo daw ang mga airlines,,, saan tayo?? cebu-pacific o PAL?? sayang daw ang miles,,, ;)) cge, cge,,, sa PAL, half-priced ang tickets,,, tara! game, kelan sa march?? hanggang march15 lang daw ang promo, (pero kahit po wala promo, tuloy pa rin naman eh ;D) cge, cge, samantalahin,,, d pwede holy week,, gawin natin before holy week,,, para abot march15,,, cge cge,,, march 11-13 tayo,,, so, january 17, nagpa-book na ng flight to cebu for march10, 730pm and back to manila ng march13, 730pm pa rin, aba, sulit sulit tlga ah! quality time ;)) same day, nag-file na ng leave for march11 ang ilan,,, aba, next day lang, approved na ang leave,,, wala na talagang urungan to =D

fast track tayo, march na,,, all set! all set na nga ba?? nakapag-file na ng leave lahat ng sasama?? yupyupyups,,, approved na ba? hehe,, ewan, basta, *come hell or high water* tuloy ang trip,,, walang makakapigil,,, naka-book na ang tickets,,, sayang ang miles, kaya matutuloy yan,,, ;p

may itinerary na rin, may powerpoint pa nga e,,, naka-ilang ym conferences na rin tungkol sa details ng trip,,, ang tanong, ok na ba lahat ng pupunta?? work complications anyone?? naku, habang lumalapit ng araw ng alis, parang gumugulo ang mundo ah,, pero ganon naman talaga eh,,, ah basta!

march10, 730pm ang flight,,, alis daw ng 4pm from alabang office ung mga alabang peeps, half-day VL ang makati peeps, alis daw ng 3pm from makati office, ung makati peeps, umalis nga ng mga 3pm, pero un mga galing alabang?? aba, 430, nasa domestic airport na kme ni aldy, mga taga-alabang d pa nagrereply, asan na kya ang mga un?? past 5 na, may nag-text,,, kaka-alis lang daw nila ng office,,, si chinito hunk, tingin na ng tingin sa relo in between reading angels and demons,,, ako naman, matatapos ko na ung beerkada comic book ko (na dun ko lng sa airport inumpisahan binasa),,, aba, nasan na sila?? aabot kaya sila,,, :-?

6pm ,,, txt,,, gutom na kayo?? lapit na kme,, bili kme fud,,, cge, cge,,, bilisan nyo na ah,,, 730 un flyt,,, ,,, ayan ayan,,, 630pm,,, just in time,,, andyan na sila,,, checheck in na kme,,, tara tara,,, dala dala ang aming magical bond paper sized tickets, punta na kme check-in counter,,, naku po! mukhang may problema ah,,, ano daw un ano daw un?? puno na daw un flight?? :-O huh?? pano naman nangyari un?? naka-book po kme,,, january pa lang, naka-book na po kme!! funny,,, ksi khit alam namen un extent nun situation, tawa pa rin kame ng tawa,,, possibly dahil excited kme pare-pareho, and one more thing,,, gutom na kme!! may lumapit na na PAL representative samen, in-explain ung nangyari,,, overbooked daw un flights nila,,, pero sabi,, they can still accomodate up to 4 more passengers,,, naku po, malabo ata yan,,, lima kame! bawal iwanan,,, ayaw!

the next flight to cebu is at 6am or 7am the next day na,,, (can't remember, wasn't paying attention, ksi hindi option ang hindi makuha un flight na un) ,,, they are asking us to take that flight,, but they are offering us compensation,,, kasalanan naman daw ksi nila,,, ksi we arrived on time for our flight! naku naku naku,,, meron po kme hinahabol na 6am ferry ride to bohol the next day,,, saka maayos na po ang plano namen sa life namen for the trip,, at meron pong limang tao na nag-aantay samen sa cebu,,, nang marinig nun PAL person ung *bohol* ,,, aba'y nakahanap ng solution,, sbi niya, they can arrange for us to take the tagbilaran flight the next day at 8am instead, that way, even if we miss the ferry, we can just arrange that we meet the cebu peeps (& rj & steph) in bohol right away,,, plus, in addition to that, they're offering as compensation, hotel accomodations for the waiting time until the next flight, free buffet dinner and free breakfast, plus rides to and fro the hotel and airport,,, on top of that, is a choice of cash equivalent to the price of one way ticket to cebu or another set of round trip tickets to cebu valid until march 10, 2006,,, hmmmmm,,,, ok,,, pero hindi muna kme pumayag cyempre,,, laki rin ng hirap ng cebu peeps to make all the arrangements, tapos magugulo lng ng ganun ganun,,, pinag-antay muna kme sa PAL office dun sa airport, susubukan daw muna nila kausapin un ibang passengers if they're interested with the compensation,,,

while waiting,,, nagpapasahan na kme,, sino kakausap sa cebu peeps para sabihin un nangyari?? we made the calls eventually, and told them the situation,,, =D ok,,, wala naman tayo magagawa e,,,

eto ang itsura ng mga taong badtrip dahil sa delayed na flight [proper term: denied boarding =)) ],,,

after sometime, the PAL person came back unfortunately or is it fortunately, telling us that it seems like we're left with no choice but to catch the tagbilaran flight the next day, and stay at the hotel over the night,,, ;)) bulong ng isa samen, tol, bka naman it's just some cheap motel,,, =)) anyways,,, we arranged first the necessary paperworks for the compensation thingy, espeysyali the next set of round trip tickets to cebu,,, ;p and after a few hours, we went to the transport services, and in no time,, we're on our way to the hotel,,,

nagulat na lng kme lahat when we arrived at the century park hotel along vito cruz and near malate,,, =)) aba'y akalain mo ;)) hehe,,,


after checking in and checking out our adjacent rooms (yup, we had two rooms ;p),,,, time to have dinner,,, at the dinner table:

after dinner, we tried going to the pool (even though the reception lady already told us that it's closed) and sure enough, it was really closed,,, we tried going out of the hotel and asked the guard if there is a good place to go to near the hotel and he told us that the PICC is just nearby, so we decided to walk to PICC, but midway walking, we realized that it was already a bit late and we were in manila, and the streets might not be that friendly to us, specially we don't know the place, so we walked back to the hotel,,, when we were already on the elevator, we decided to visit the top floor of the hotel, thus our term, the toppest,,, ;p anong meron sa toppest? may bar, tpos kita din ang manila by night,,, pero syempre, mga bata pa ksi, not our kind of thing,,, nitanong n lng namen dun sa mga tao dun kung san pa pwede pumunta,,, naturally ang suggestion nila is baywalk or malate,,, :p

back to the hotel room (yups, sayang po ung isang room ksi ayaw namen maghiwa-hiwalay,,,) ,,, ang mga batang walang magawa ay nabo-bore na at nagdesisyon na samantalahin ang stay sa manila at pumunta ng baywalk ;p ,,, ooopss,, la po kme pictures here ksi wala kmeng dinalang things pagpunta dun bukod sa aming mga sarili at kaunting salapi para makapag-taxi,,, :p

sa baywalk, kami'y naglakad-lakad,,, and after a set of drinks, we decided to walk to malate,,, on the way, we stopped by a convenience store to buy a deck of playing cards, then continued walking,,, at malate, first stop is starbucks restroom then we went off to find some place we could go to for a while but then after walking the block, we realized that its already late and some were a bit too sleepy, and we have a 4am wake up call, so we decided to go back,,,

sa hotel, ang mga batang pasaway at ayaw pa rin matulog ay nag-pusoy dos muna,,, :p sila un, ako,,, d ako marunong,,, ako nakatulog na ata ako sa panonood sa kanila,,, :D

4am, wake up call, hahaha,,, walang bumangon, mga nagsipag-ligo na ksi sila,,, oist ako, dpa,, bangon ako ng 5am para maligo ;p ,,, [530 kme susunduin papunta airport ;))] after a quick breakfast, syempre, check out from the hotel (no cash out syempre) ,,,


and off we go back to the airport,,, 530am,, ang aga nang sobra na nyan for an 8am flight,,,


pagdating sa airport, we didn't really bothered to check the check-in counters, diretso na kme to pay the terminal fee [the PAL person already checked us in for the flight even before she gave us the tickets the night before (para sigurado na dba,,,)] ,,, and inside, we were trying to find which was our boarding gate,, but the monitors does not show of an 8am flight to tagbilaran, it was just 6am then,,, so we decided to find a spot, and wait there, while playing, the other guys, decided to play cards again,,, ako, nood na lng ulit,,, ;p

at around 7, we checked for the boarding gates again,,, uh oh,,, this doesn't look right,,, there's still no indication of an 8am flight to tagbilaran, we were even more shocked when we already saw a 9am flight (to somewhere) on the list,,, we then decided to go out again, and this time, check the check-in counters,,, we're just too shocked when we saw that the counter for the tagbilaran flight displays 9am as departure time,,, oooopppsss,,, lagot! we then asked the counter persons and they told us that ALL of the flights that morning were delayed,,, naku po! seryosohan nang badtrip ang mga tao,,, nasa tagbilaran na ung cebu peeps at naghihintay, tapos sasabihin namen na made-delay na naman kme ng isa pang oras,,, =)) haha, pasahan na ang mga tao,,, sinong tatawag sa mga taga-cebu, para magpaliwanag,,, naku po,,, badtrip na ang mga tao, ayawan na sa pusoy dos, si ian at jaui, nagtatalo pa kung tatawagan ulit ung PAL person na nag-entertain sa amin the night before,,, si aldy, seryoso na rin,,, si myk, hawak na ang laptop at magttrabaho na lng daw muna,,, si jaui, ayan, nag-shades na, seryoso na ang mga tao,,, si ian, teka, nasan na si ian,,, nawawala,,, hehe,,, oh well, ano bang ginagawa ng mga tao pag nadedelay ang flight?? e d naghihintay,,, while myk was fumbling with his laptop, we discovered there were around 3 wireless networks visible, and naturally we tried to access it,,, =D [badtrip pa rin mga tao,, may nag-suggest,,, tara, gawa tayo virus,,, haha,,, you don't let IT peeps running loose at the airports frustrated,,,] can't get through the network though,,, ;)) finally, at around 830, we checked for the boarding gates and waited for our flight to be called ,,, and a few minutes past 9, we're finally off to tagbilaran,,, woohoo! at last,,, =D
