finally! 37 units done, 4 exams to go! :D

IM status: . doing the happy dance \:D/ weeeeeeeee, may grade na ako! :D .

..

So, I thought my next post would be pictures from my adbentyurs this past month.
But indulge me... I'm just so happy this day.
My happiness is uncontainable. :D
The moment I saw my CRS (computerized registration system) account, my smile was from ear and to ear and I just had to send instant messages to people of note and changed my YM and GTalk status. tsk tsk tsk,, And then I finally had the confidence to buy tickets to Manila and to file for vacation leave for enrollment in June.

Why? 'coz after 3 semesters of hard work, I finally got a grade for the last subject I need to complete my masters degree. :)

I think I already mentioned it on the last post that I was having a bit of a trouble with my grade. Since last week, I have been trying to compose an email to the graduate office to inquire about it. So I was checking my CRS account almost every morning for a quite a number of days already, to find the right words. I have been reading and rewriting and reading and rewriting the letter every chance I get to take breather from work tasks. But, since before the election up to this morning, I haven't been able to check my CRS account because I got too busy at work, and then I had to travel home for the elections.

So when I checked this morning, I was very pleasantly surprised that the "Subjects with no grade yet" table was already gone and I already have a grade! Had I not been in the office, I would probably have literally jumped for joy! Like I said, SO happy! :D

But don't get me wrong, I'm not yet done. I still have a lot more to do before I can actually graduate. That last grade only means that I completed 37 units. And since I am on the non-thesis program, I still have to take a comprehensive exam to complete the requirements for my degree. The "compre" translates to 4 exams based on 3 core courses and 1 specialization course that I took in the past 4 years. And this will take place on 4 separate days in September.

So, what does that mean? I need to review 4 courses before September. The fact that most of those courses, I took during my first 2 years in grad school will be giving me a tough time to study. Moreover, being in Cebu until August, means that I will not be able to sit-in on the classes this semester to help me in the review. So this will be all me now. **scary**

I just hope we don't get too critical or busy at work so that I can still have the weekends to review.

Wish me luck and blessings guys, this is "finally", the final stretch. ;)
